The Plucky Penguins, led by GM Goobs, are a Garage Division team that entered the league as part of GFL's 10 team expansion in GFL Year 4, who were at the time led by GM Sloppo. With an almost unbelievable amount of prior GM experience under his belt, GM Sloppo came through with a solid rookie season in the GFL, finishing with a record of 8-6 and securing a playoff birth. GM Sloppo would go head to head with division rival GM Crumbs (7-7) and would lose by a score of 141.82-138.18. 

A close defeat to cap off a solid introductory season, GM Sloppo would agree to return for GFL Year 5, the 1st year of GFL Dynasty. They would announce leading up to the start-up draft their official team identity - the Sloppiest Lobsters. With the draft behind them, the Lobsters would end up having a lackluster season compared to their rookie campaign, finishing with a record of 4-10 and missing the playoffs. They then entered the Poo Tournament (the last place tournament) and faced off against the GM that sent them home the year prior - GM Crumbs & the Stuffers (4-10). They were able to secure victory, defeating the Stuffers by a score 174.46-112.08, sending GM Crumbs to the Poo Bowl and escaping last place. The Lobsters stayed active and had a solid rookie draft and set their sights on a GFL6 rebound.

One of the harder teams to judge before the season started, the Lobsters got off to a relatively slow start in GFL6 with a 4-5 record after week 9. Luckily for them they were still able to secure in a playoff spot due to the situations of other teams in the division, not that it mattered, because Sloppo kicked it into high gear and led the Lobsters on a 5 game win streak to end the season and finish 2nd in the Garage division. Searching for their first career playoff win was not a successful endeavor, as they fell to the Rings in round 1. On the bright side, they looked primed to compete for a division title in GFL7.

And primed they were. The GFL7 Lobsters went on to become just the fourth team in GFL history to reach the 11 win threshold in the regular season en route to their first career division title. It was a truly dominant season for Sloppo, who trailed only 4th and Medium in total points. While they were penciled in as the Garage favorite from preseason through Week 14, they ended up on the sad end of a soul crushing semi-finals defeat by less than half a point with to the eventual CHAMP The Golden Rings. Their phenomenal season didn't net them any hardware, but the core in place should allow this team to compete at a similarly high level in GFL8.

After a dominant year 7 many thought the Sloppiest Lobsters were poised to return as one of the top teams in the Garage Division, and the entire league. The Lobsters didn't have any firsts, as that was up to mostly RSC, but they were able to make two great late 2nd round picks in Cam Skattebo and Colston Loveland. "The Skatt Man" was able to produce and make an impact early, despite missing the rest of the season with an injury. Those Slopsters didn't make many trades, yet managed to make one of the biggest of the year in GFL 8, sending Dak Prescott, Colston Loveland and others (including a first and three 2nds) to the Orangevile Ducks in exchange for Lamar Jackson and Rachaad White. It was a move the team made in an effort to inject some life into a team that just wasnt performing to the standard that was expected, whether that be due to injury or just bad luck/mojo. The Lobsters would miss the playoffs in their worst, and last season in the GFL. Certain off the field issues led to the Lobsters being sold and rebranded to GM Goobs, and the PLUCKY PENGUINS!!!
